Last week, T-ara finally unveiled the profile picture of their 9th and youngest member, Dani. Although she's not expected to join the group until December, Dani is already making headlines for her 167 cm height and striking resemblance to Argentinean actress Olivia Hussey.

But what really caught the attention of many fans was her age – born in 1998, Dani is making her debut at the tender age of 14! That makes Dani one of the youngest idol members in K-Pop, and perhaps one of the most attractive maknaes (youngest member) among all idol groups.

In this article, we will go over seven of the most popular and talented maknae members in today's K-Pop. While there are still concerns over the maturity of these young stars (and their lack of school education due to activities), there's no question these kids got the talent and looks to be top celebrities.

Enjoy the list and please let us know which maknae member you like the most!

Beast Fans Start Movement Demanding Apology From KBS for Cutting Out “Dream Concert” Performances

Posted: 02 Jun 2012 07:54 PM PDT

Beast fans have recently started a movement obtaining signatures demanding an apology from KBS2 for cutting out the group’s performances on the air.

On May 12, at the ending of the first part of “2012 I Love You, Korea Dream Concert,” Beast performed hit songs “Fiction” and “Shock.” However, when the concert was aired on May 30, “Shock” was completely cut out, and only half of “Fiction” was aired. To this, member Yoseob tweeted, “Hehe Sometimes things like this and that happen! Don’t get too upset! Then you won’t be able to sleep. Beauties go to bed!” and comforted the fans. However, fans have initiated a movement to obtain 50,000 signatures on the Daum agora.

The fans write, “This is an incident that occurred at the ’2012 I Love you, Korea Dream Concert.’ All the artists sang their greatest hits, at most two, at least one song. However, when Beast was performing ‘Fiction’ between the first and second half of the concert, the performance was edited to go straight to the introduction of the second verse. Then a commercial was aired, and that’s how it ended. Those who were at the event say that Beast performed two songs. However, one song was cut in the middle and the other was completely left out. Not only those of the Beast fandom, but if there are fans of other artists who would feel that KBS2 should sincerely apologize if the same happened to their favorite artists, we would be grateful if you signed this petition.”

Currently, there are about 8,200 signatures. Below is the clip of what was aired of “Fiction.”

TaeTiSeo Praises Taeyeon’s Vocals

Posted: 02 Jun 2012 05:26 PM PDT

Girls' Generation TaeTiSeo has dubbed Taeyeon a possessor of "selfish" vocals.

On June 1 broadcast of “Yoo Hee Yul's Sketchbook,” Tiffany highly praised Taeyeon's skills. "Taeyeon is born with it," she said. "Our singing parts naturally increased as we began our subunit, but as I keep listening to Taeyeon's singing, I can only think that she's simply born with it. It's almost 'selfish' in a way!"

MC Yoo also agreed that all the high notes seem to be sung by Taeyeon. Taeyeon humbly replied, "I'm embarrassed. It's not to that extent."

Here’s a sample of Taeyeon’s amazing vocals-she sings Rihanna‘s “Take A Bow” during the show!

In addition to TaeTiSeo, Baek Ji Young and Kim Jun Ho also adorned the stage for this episode.
