R&B Duo 2BiC Releases MV for “Return” Feat. Hareem and Hotoo

Korea’s top R&B duo 2BiC released the music video with English subtitles for “Return” featuring musician Hareem on harmonica and rapper Hotoo through the official LOEN Entertainment YouTube channel.

2BiC is known for their smooth yet powerful singing voice. “Return” is about a couple who grows tired of each other. The music video is similar to their “Bye Bye Love” music video. The song is easy to listen to with 2BiC’s perfect vocals and the slick rap. The music video shows the two wandering around Los Angeles and playing tourist to Los Angeles’ most famous sites. They even enjoy a delicious In N Out burger.

2BiC will celebrate their one year since debut mark on June 9 with a special showcase, “BiC Show,” on June 9. Starting then, this talented duo will begin their promotions.

Park Joong Hoon, Ahn Sung Ki, Park Shin Yang, Jang Hyuk, Kim Gyu Ri, and U-KISS did philanthropy through Bakssi.com. Bakssi.com is an auction website. The theme of the website is, "Good Consumption, Good Sharing." The total amount of profits made through the auction will be given to charity.

Bakssi.com puts up for auction items that celebrities and other famous individuals have donated.

The interesting fact about Bakssi.com is that when a person donates, they designate what kind of charity the money will be used for. This is a type of "Choice Donation" service system. Bakssi.com wants to provide transparency and choice to the person or group donating.

Andamiro Releases Music Video for “Waiting” Featuring Double K

Female soloist Andamiro released the visually appealing music music video for her single “Waiting” featuring rapper Double K through the official CJ E&M YouTube channel.

“Waiting” is Andamiro’s second digital single and is about the lonely hardship a woman must must face after losing a love. Andamiro’s unique voice soulfully sings out the emotions of the song. Double K’s hard and truthful rap ads an edge to what could have just been a sorrowful song. This electronic and acoustic crossover was produced by Shadow and Double K. The music video stars both the singer and the rapper in visually enticing scenes with special effects. The addition of the illustrations over the filming matches well with the complicated feelings of the song.

“Waiting” was released on online music stores on June 5.

Moon Chae Won Stars with Joo Won and Joo Sang Wook in “Green Scalpel”

Actress Moon Chae Won has been cast in the lead female role for the upcoming KBS drama, “Green Scalpel.” This is her return to the small screen in seven months after “Nice Guy.”

Moon Chae Won plays a doctor for the first time in her career. Her character is named Cha Yoon Seo, who has a strong sense of duty and principles and is not afraid to speak her mind, even to her superiors. She is a second-year fellow in the pediatric surgery department.

Moon Chae Won co-stars with Joo Won and Joo Sang Wook. She is secretly in love with Joo Sang Wook’s character, who is a charismatic and skilled assistant professor, but starts to be drawn to Joo Won’s character, who is a warm-hearted but “unique” resident.

The actress commented, “The warm and hopeful story being told by the writer spoke to me. I was also curious about the lives and thoughts of doctors who continuously face patients everyday.” She added, “As always, I will work hard with the hope that this project will become a good one for everyone and myself.”

“Green Scalpel,” which draws the story of a young man with autism who becomes a pediatric surgeon, will premiere after “Shark” in August.

“Bare Footed Friends” in Viewership Rating Trouble!

Uh oh, it looks like SBS' "Barefooted Friends" is facing some trouble! Despite the fact that the show has now invited the "Variety Show Black Belt" Lee Hyori in, the viewership ratings are not doing so well.

According to Nielson Korea the viewership rating of the May 2 broadcast of "Barefooted Friends" was 5.2 percent. The previous broadcast of May 26 was 5.4 percent. For reference, the first broadcast of "Barefooted Friends" on April 21 was 5.6 percent. Also, "Barefooted Friends" had an all-time low viewership rating of 2.9 percent on May 5.

Meanwhile, the June 2 broadcast of "Dad where are you going" had a viewership rating of 15.9 percent. "Running Man" had a viewership rating of 13.7 percent.

CL Worries She Might Not be Able to Marry

Even CL is apprehensive about carrying out certain concepts for her music.

Recently turned solo artist and leader of group 2NE1, CL, had a total of 15 costume changes for the music video for her new single, "The Baddest Female."

Among the numerous wardrobe changes were looks of a Grecian goddess, futuristic soldier, sexy red carpet, and "ghetto fab," to name a few.

In a recent interview with Newsen, CL spoke candidly about her thoughts and affection for her costumes.

When asked what look was her favorite from the music video, CL responded by saying, "The last look where there was a picture of lips in the background was one of my favorites, but it’s hard to pick just one because I had say in all of the looks I wore in the music video."

Then the reporter asked about the "gold teeth" that CL wore in the music video. CL responded that the gold teeth has always been a part of hip hop culture and she too always loved them. She went on to say that other people thought it would be good if she put them on for the video. She added, “Truthfully, I was afraid that if I put the gold teeth on, it would be difficult for me to get married in the future.”

CL concluded, “Besides the gold teeth, there wasn’t anything I was apprehensive of trying. The things I like tend to be unconventional so they feel natural to me.” With a laugh she added, “I was worried just a bit about the gold teeth.”

Ivy to Make Comeback With “I Dance” Feat. Yoobin of Wonder Girls

K-Pop diva Ivy will be making her come back with a new mini album, “I Dance” featuring Yoobin of Wonder Girls.

The singer revealed teaser photos from her upcoming mini album through her personal blog and announced that she will be making her comeback on June 13 with the song “I Dance.” The song will also feature Yoobin as a guest rapper. Yoobin also participated in the filming of the music video and will appear on stage with Ivy for her comeback performance.

“I Dance” will be a fusion of tango, hip hop, and electronic and be about a woman trying to forget her hurt through dance. A representative of Ivy’s agency said, “‘I dance’ will be a dance song that portrays Ivy’s classic yet alluring charms. After her 2009 “Touch Me” promotions, this will be Ivy’s comeback in four years with a dance song.”

Starting what looks like to be another set of teaser photos, Pledis Entertainment recently released a “revealing” teaser photo of member Nana.

In the black and white photo, Nana stands with her back to the camera. She is topless but wears large funky acessories and a cap. A tagline runs across the photo that reads, “What’s Next?”

Rookie Group History Previews Their Upcoming “Short-Com”

LOEN Entertainment‘s male group History will be starring in their very own video series through the official LOEN Entertainment YouTube channel.

The rookie group released a short preview with English subtitles of their “Short-Com.” What short-com exactly is isn’t totally clear but LOEN offered this explanation: “ Stronger than sitcom, funnier than web-toon, and even funnier than gag-concert, short-com! The attractive alternative group, HISTORY’s ‘becoming a real star’ plan is coming up! Whatever you are thinking of, we are here to break that! Play, if you want to be close to ‘Short-com TORYTORY BANG BANG‘” In the video the members are sharply dressed in trenchcoats and sunglasses as they cooly walk down the street and order Chinese food.

Starship Entertainment just announced through its official Twitter account more SISTAR member teaser photos in addition to ones previously released. It stated, “For people who are waiting for the comeback! These are exclusive “Give it to Me” images before the album release! There are not many days left so please wait just a bit more! ”

Starship Entertainment revealed the new images through Naver Music. In these “Moulin Rouge” themed photos, the members of SISTAR look beautiful and glamourous, increasing the anticipation for their June 11 comeback with their second full album, “Give it to Me.”
