f(x) Victoria Was a One Day Judge for “Super Star China”

Wow awesome news for f(x) Victoria fans in China! Victoria will be appearing on "Super Star China" (The Chinese version of Super Star K) as a judge for a day.

Victoria wrote on her Weibo June 4, "Although I was only a judge for one day on 'Super Star China, it was a good experience and I learned a lot." She also thanked fellow judges such as Alan Tam.

Victoria then stated, "All of you participants did a great job. I hope that you can fulfill your dreams. Believe in yourself. All of the staff did a great job as well. Thank you so much for the fans that waited outside. 'Super Star China' fighting!"

Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae to Appear on “Dating Agency: Cyrano”

Wow this is good news for tvN's "Dating Agency: Cyrano." Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae will be making a special guest appearance as a client and target respectively. The basic storyline behind tvN's "Dating Agency: Cyrano" is that clients ask the dating agency to help them get into relationships. The dating agency helps the clients by setting up scenarios and situations.

Top stars have continued to appear as guests for the show. So far this is the list of stars that appeared as guests: Jee Jin Hee, Choi Won Young, Lee Cheong Ah, Lee Yoon Ji, Lim Hyung Joon, and SHINee's Taemin.

In the June 11 episode (which is episode 11) Lee Kwang Soo will be appearing as a master chef.

Park Myung Soo Releases Jacket for Upcoming Single “You’re My Girl”

Did you know that talented MC and comedian Park Myung Soo was also a singer? A representative of Park Myung Soo recently released the jacket image for Park Myung Soo's upcoming single "You're My Girl." The jacket image was released through twitter on June 5.

The tweet read, "Here is the jacket image for 'You're My Girl.' On June 12, the music will be released. The song was produced and lyrics written by 'leopard cat.' Please give the song your interest."

Park Myung Soo's song "Prince of the Sea" which was released in 2000 was quite popular. Even more popular was his single "I'm Cheating" which was performed with G-Dragon and Park Bom for Infinity Challenge.

Kim Soo Hyun’s “Secretly and Greatly” Breaks Record for Opening Korean Film

Wow! "Secretly and Greatly" which stars Kim Soo Hyun is making a killing in the Korean box office! According to KOFIC (The Korean Film Council) "Secretly and Greatly" which opened on June 5 had an audience of 498,282. If we include the numbers for the film screening, that means that the film has now had a total of 507,910 viewers!

This is the highest number of views for the opening day of a Korean film. The film that had the previous record was "Thieves" which had an audience of 436,596 on the day it opened. In comparison, Iron Man 3 had a total audience of 422,504.

"Secretly and Greatly" is based off of a 2010 webtoon about a handsome North Korean spy who acts like the village idiot. More specifically, Kim Soo Hyun's character pretends that he is a high-school student village idiot that wants to become a signer. Park Ki Woong, Lee Hyun Woo, Son Hyun Joo, and others also star in the movie.

Yuri Practices Guitar Diligently for Upcoming Movie “No Breathing”

Girl’s Generation member Yuri recently shared photos of herself strumming the guitar. 

On June 4, Yuri shared a photo on the official website of Girl’s Generation with the caption, “I’ll be filming for the movie ‘No Breathing’ tomorrow!”

In the photo, Yuri appears to be in the recording studio while playing her guitar. She can be seen a casual baseball cap and comfortable clothes. 

She continued, “In order to become band member Jung Eun, I’ve been practicing the guitar very diligently.You’ll soon be able to see me playing the guitar and singing on stage. Until I get callouses on my fingers, fighting! 

Netizens commented, “A band member? Wow, I’m looking forward to it!” “I thought Yuri was going to be playing sports because this drama was supposed to be a sports-based drama?” and “I want to see the movie already! Fighting~”

“No Breathing” is a movie about a swimmer. Actors Seo In Guk, Lee Jong Suk, Kwon Yuri were cast for this sports-drama movie and are scheduled to begin filming on June 19.

Miranda Kerr to Appear on SNL Korea!

WOW, here is some exciting news for tvN's SNL KOREA! The beautiful former Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr will be making a guest appearance!

On June 6, a representative of tvN's SNL Korea stated on June 6, "Miranda Kerr will be appearing on the June 15 broadcast of SNL Korea that features Lee Bum Soo. Lee Bum Soo will be the main host, and Miranda Kerr will be appearing on the VCR corner. Just like how Jason Mraz's appearance, Miranda Kerr will be appearing on the VCR corner."

Miranda Kerr will be arriving in South Korean on June 11. She is currently married to Hollywood star Orlando Bloom. On the other hand, Lee Bum Soo has been working on a 2013 cessation campaign. For the cessation campaign he directed a  "cessation social movie."

Here is some good news for IVY and Wonder Girls fans! IVY will be coming back with a new mini album on June 13. The title song of the new mini album is titled "I DANCE." The surprising news is that "I DANCE" contains a rap feature by Wonder Girls' skilled and sexy rapper Yoobin!

This will be IVY's album of one year after he previous mini album titled "INTERVIEW PART.1." Besides featuring on the song, Yoobin will also appear in the music video. Also, Yoobin will be joining IVY on her comeback performances!
The song "I DANCE" is a dance song which mixes tango, hip hop, and electronica.

Gong Yoo’s Safely Completes Filming His New Film “Suspect”

Actor Gong Yoo finally finished filming his upcoming action film "Suspect" on June 2, 2013.

In this much anticipated movie, Gong Yoo plays the role of Ji Dong Chul, a North Korean defector who was once a top agent betrayed by his country. He becomes the main suspect in a murder case in this movie, and to clear his name, he attempts to catch the real killer.

Other cast members include Park Hee Soon, Jo Sung Ha, and Yoo Da In.

To play the role of an agent, Gong Yoo has trained tirelessly both before and during the filming. Fans are looking forward to see the Gong Yoo's high quality action scenes.     

"Suspect," which was directed by Won Shin Yeon, will be released later this year.

Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung Share Their Thoughts on Wedding Plans

Shortly after news of Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung‘s wedding was announced, the couple reached out to the public by further sharing their thoughts on their marriage plans.

After Lee Min Jung returned from a vacation to Japan after ending her drama, “All About My Romance,” she spoke with Sports Seoul on the phone for an interview. She said, “Many people showed a lot of concern and interest and we went on to make a good decision. We will responsibly, prettily and peacefully live together.”

The following is the rest of the interview with Lee Min Jung.

Q: What did you and Lee Byung Hun talk about after the news hit the public?

A: Oppa [Lee Byung Hun] is in Japan for “G.I. Joe 2” promotions right now. Besides those promotions, he’s really busy with a lot of other personal things. It would’ve been nice if the news hit the public when both of us were in Korea but… (laughs), since it’s already out there, we said that it’s a good thing that the news was released.

Q: You returned from Japan yesterday (June 4) and some people are saying that it was your “pre-honeymoon.”

A: We were both in Japan but we could not meet. I went to Japan because I have a lot of friends there and oppa had to go for promotions. We only spoke on the phone. Before I returned to Korea, he jokingly said, ‘Don’t you think articles of you being in Japan will be released?’ but it came true. Oppa stayed in the southern part of Japan and I stayed in the eastern part so we could not meet. Speaking of which, there were rumors that we traveled to the US together in the past but even then, we didn’t even meet. I went to New York for a photo shoot and Oppa had to go to Canada to film “Red 2” but couldn’t find a direct flight so he had to come to New York. The only place we meet in is at the airport (laughs).

Q: Did Lee Byung Hun propose to you?

A: Not yet. I was busy filming for “All About My Romance” and oppa was so busy with filming overseas starting from last year. It was the longest we’ve been apart since we started dating. Honestly, we haven’t seen each other for a few months. Things kept coming up so we had no time for wedding preparations either.

Q: But there are rumors that your new home together is all decorated and that you’ve been planning your wedding for a while.

A: No, nothing is done yet. We haven’t started anything with our home yet and actually, there’s nothing really much to do with it. Hasn’t it only been 5 days since my drama ended? Usually, brides-to-be picks out the beauty shop, wedding dress and wedding photos. But since we already have a few partners in those industries, it’ll take less time to plan. I am planning on asking a lot of people around me. When I talked with oppa, we decided to make the wedding as simple and small as possible.

Q: You said you received the bouquet at your friend’s wedding in the past. Was that after you set the date?

A: No. It was my best friend’s wedding and I originally said I couldn’t make it because of filming but fortunately, I ended in the morning so I went. My friend threw the bouquet and it landed on the floor. I guess since I had a boyfriend, people were like, “Min Jung, you hold it up and take a picture with it,” so I took it. I felt nervous after that was released on the media as well.

Q: What are your future plans?

A: I’m still thinking. I’m really thankful toward oppa because he cared a lot about my projects and activities in the first half of the year. I will probably get into a new project in the latter half as well. We are getting married but we will continue to pursue our careers as actor Lee Byung Hun and actress Lee Min Jung.

Q: What do you want to say to your future husband?

A: I hope we can help each other a lot and live well together. Let’s be like friends and strong companions as we show good sides of ourselves.

Groom-to-be Lee Byung Hun also shared his feelings through a handwritten letter.

On June 5, Lee Byung Hun posted his letter on his official homepage and said, “I am in Japan right now. It’s only natural that we should deliver any status updates or good news to you all first but the media reported this news without us knowing so we rushed with our official statement and now I am late with telling this news to you.”

He continued, “Our fates keep coming across each other and I have promised to spend eternity together with my best friend and colleague Lee Min Jung by marrying her on August 10,” and “After the official announcement, many people around us have expressed surprise and furthermore, gave us many blessings. I think you all have been pretty surprised as well.”

“Regardless of me getting married, I won’t rest as actor Lee Byung Hun and I will continue to work on good projects. I don’t know where the peak is on this mountain that I’m climbing but I will continue to climb it with you all.”

Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung will tie the knot on August 10 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul.

Kwon Sang Woo’s Family Enjoys a Day at Theme Park

A picture of star family Kwon Sang Woo, Son Tae Hee and their son Rocky at an amusement park was recently released.

Actress Son Tae Hee posted on her Facebook account, a picture collage of the family enjoying a day at an amusement park. The caption said, "Daddy, where are you going? Safari."

The photos showed the couple looking relaxed, dressed casual chic. It also showed all three members holding hands as they were walking. Rocky was looking the part as well, sporting sunglasses.

Actor Kwon Sang Woo is currently considering two dramas: MBC's "Medical Top Team," and KBS' "Age of Emotion."
