Henry Catches Hearts in a “Trap” with Debut Music Video

SM Entertainment‘s newest male solo artist, Henry, has finally released the highly-anticipated music video for “Trap,” off his debut mini-album.

SHINee‘s Taemin and Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, who featured in the title track, also joined Henry in the music video to show their support for their fellow labelmate. 

The mini-album “Trap” was released today at noon through various online music stores and the physical format will be released June 10. Henry will have his debut stage today through KBS’ “Music Bank,” and Taemin and Kyuhyun will take the stage with him. Stay tuned to Soompi for the performance video today!

Lee Hyori Says Boyfriend, Lee Sang Soon, is Always on Call for Her

Singer Lee Hyori says her boyfriend musician, Lee Sang Soon, is always on her call.

In a recently aired episode of KBS' "Happy Together 3," singer Lee Hyori was seen proud to be on the show with her best pals: TV personality Ahn Hae Kyung, actress Yoon Seung Ah, and designer Yoni P. 

Lee Hyori shared a story about when friend Yoon Seung Ah called her in the middle of the night about a cat who got hit by a car.  Yoon Seung Ah was worried because  she couldn't get to the cat  because it hid underneath a car.  So what did Lee Hyori – who is a well known animal activist – do? She called her boyfriend because she was in the middle of working.

The story goes on with Lee Sang Soon rescuing the poor cat and taking it to the veterinarian. When Lee Sang Soon came to help in rescue efforts, he had with him a blanket for the cat, gloves, and cat food to lure the cat into safety.  Lee Hyori said that he is like an animal rescue official.

Yoon Seung Ah added, "He was so brave and amazing. When Lee Sang Soon came to rescue the cat, it felt as though we were in a movie."

Lee Hyori ended by saying, "That's why Lee Sang Soon has no time to practice his music- he is always on call for me." The studio was in  laughter after learning that Lee Sang Soon's profession is slowly changing into an animal rescuer.

History Releases Cute and Funny First Episode of Their Short-Com “Tory Tory Bang Bang”

History is eager to show their comedic side to their fans. The rookie group released the first episode of their short-com “Tory Tory Bang Bang” through their agency LOEN Entertainment‘s official YouTube channel.

“Tory Tory Bang Bang” is a web series about History’s debut and entrance into the idol life. According to LOEN, it is not quite a sitcom yet not a comedy show, but a mixture of both. The first episode is more of an introductionof the members as they decide to go get Chinese food to celebrate their induction into celebrity-hood. The members don’t hold back when it comes to their comedic portrayals, especially as they order jjajangmyung or black noodles.

Chocolat Releases Teaser for “Black Tinkerbell”

Girl group Chocolat will be making their comeback with the single “Black Tinkerbell” and released a teaser through their official YouTube channel.

It has been a year and three months since the girl group promoted their second single album with “One More Day.” A representative of their agency said, “The group worked ambitiously on this album to show their change and potential. They will show a more mature image to prove that they are not a rookie group musically and visually.” It was also reported that the group worked on this song for six months.

The teaser hints at an electronic dance song that allows the girls to show more mature and sexier dance moves. 

“Black Tinkerbell” will be released on June 11.

2AM, BTOB, and K.Will to Transform from “Boys to Man” in Joint Concert

Singer K.Will, groups 2AM and BTOB will be holding their first ever joint concert.

The concert titled, "Boys to Man," will be held on June 29th in Seoul at Kyung Hee University.

The theme of the concert is the literal meaning of the title, "Boys to Man." It is a progression of age starting with the group BTOB, who are in their early 20's, to 2AM, who are in their mid 20's, and finally K.Will, who is in his 30's. Each group represents the development of each age group from a male perspective.

The concert producers stated, "The idea is to give hope to the youth, who currently seem lost, through music: a boy's dream becomes reality as he grows up to be an adult."

Lee Jong Suk Asks, “Is Being Able to Hear Other People’s Thoughts a Blessing?”

On June 6 on his me2day, actor Lee Jong Suk uploaded a photo along with a message, "Did you watch the episode yesterday? Is being able to hear other people's thoughts a blessing? Or a curse? You gotta watch the show today. Around my neck is a camera I use for monitoring."

In the picture, Lee Jong Suk is wearing a school uniform, which is worn by his current character, Park Soo Ha, on the SBS's drama "I Hear Your Voice." He is smiling at the camera and posing with a V-sign, looking boyish and handsome.

Lee Jong Suk is playing the role of a high school student, who can hear other people's thoughts, in “I Hear Your Voice.” The first episode aired on June 5.

NS Yoonji Takes a Shopping Break in Style

On her Twitter on June 5, NS Yoonji uploaded a photo of herself along with a short message, "I am hard at work filming~ Shopping in-between. Hahaha."

In the picture, NS Yoonji is at a store looking at shoulder bags and shoes. She is wearing a sleeveless denim top and black skirt. As she shows off her beautiful profile, NS Yoonji looks stylish and elegant in this photo.

Meanwhile, NS Yoonji has recently been involved in a dating rumor with Ha Jung Woo. The tabloids even claimed that these two stars plan on getting married in December. Immediately afterward on June 5,  Ha Jung Woo's agency denied the scandal, stating that Ha Jung Woo and NS Yoonji did not even know each other.

Dress Worn by Shinhwa’s Hyesung on “SNL” Became Sold Out!

Recently on tvN's "Taxi," which was aired on June 3, group Shinhwa's members appeared as special guests. On the show, Shin Hyesung revealed his thoughts on the experience on show "SNL Korea."

In their episode of "SNL Korea," which aired on May 4, Shinhwa showed off erotic adult humor skits. This was Shin Hyesung's first time dressing as a woman, and he was praised for his acting skills.

Shin Hyesung stated, "To me, 'SNL Korea' felt like a challenge. I have never acted before, so Eric, Kim Dong Wan, and Shin Dong Yup helped me out a lot."

He also revealed that the dress he wore on the show became sold out. Hyesung said, "I caused a female outfit to be sold out. I didn't know how to feel about this."

FT Island Celebrates Sixth Anniversary!

Talented flower boy band FT Island celebrates the group’s sixth anniversary today, June 7. The group debuted on television June 7 in 2007. Wow, it has already been six years!

The members of FT Island commented through their agency, FNC Entertainment, “We want to sincerely thank our fans for our sixth anniversary and we will continue to make better music.” 

The members included a picture of themselves celebrating the anniversary during practice, holding up a cake and putting up six fingers.

FT Island is currently in Japan, preparing for upcoming promotions for their new Japanese album, “Rated-FT.” The album will be released June 12 and starting June 15, the group will start their Arena tour that will go to seven cities for 11 concerts. The tour is titled, “FT Island Arena Tour 2013- Freedom.”

Member Lee Hong Ki’s new movie, “Passionate Goodbye,” also opens in theaters in Japan June 7.
